Patio & Jet Washing FAQ
How should I prepare a patio for cleaning?
Move lightweight furniture, pots, toys and ornaments away from the treatment area before the technician arrives. Heavy objects should be discussed rather than dragged across the surface.

Prepare the patio safely
Sweep loose personal items from corners and make sure gates or side passages can open fully. The equipment route needs enough width and should not depend on moving unapproved belongings.
Point out loose pointing, cracked slabs, unstable edging, delicate paintwork and known drainage problems. Pressure or chemical choice must reflect the actual surface condition.
Clear movable items first
Close nearby windows and keep children and pets away from hoses, wet ground and the active working zone. Tell the team if access must pass through an interior room.
Vehicles and bicycles should be moved where overspray or hose routing could affect them. Neighbours may need notice when a shared route is involved.
Identify fragile areas and drainage
The quotation should state the patio area, surface type, expected treatment and whether resanding, sealing or stain work is excluded.
Water needs a controlled route away from doors and vulnerable areas. Existing pooling or blocked drainage should be reported before cleaning begins.
After the visit, keep the area clear for the advised drying period and follow any separate instructions for jointing sand or sealant.
Protect access through the property
